Worked in 3 layers of reverse appliqué, appliqué, and hand-embroidered mola panel with machine-stitched construction featuring a large concentric labyrinthine spiral in alternating orange, black, and burgundy cotton that dominates the composition, centered on an appliquéd spirit face with white-inlaid eyes, a zigzag green border, and a densely dot-stitched black ground, with a flanking maze-form in black to the right. Eight multicolor bar appliqués in yellow, black, blue, pink, green, and gray radiate outward from the center at irregular angles across the spiral field. Polychrome scroll, step, and rectangular appliqué forms populate the outer border on all sides.
