Complete Guna mola blouse featuring a boldly worked reverse appliqué, appliqué, and embroidery front panel set into a mustard yellow cotton yoke with gathered short sleeves, a black embroidered band at the panel junction, and a light blue cotton hem border printed with a row of large black dots. The mola panel presents a monumental X-form composition in dark teal outlined in orange, the four sweeping diagonal arms extending corner to corner and converging at a central four-petaled cross rosette worked in black and blue. Eight additional cross rosette medallions, each individually colored in yellow, green, blue, pink, or purple against black, are distributed symmetrically within the corner and midpoint fields created by the X-form arms. The triangular fields between the arms are densely filled with multicolored chevron and dash embroidery in yellow, orange, pink, green, blue, and white, creating a vibrating polychrome ground. The back panel repeats the composition with variation in the rosette colorways. Consistent hand-stitching throughout. Worked in three layers of red, black, teal, orange, yellow, and multicolor cotton.
