Description
Vintage c1950 Turtle Summer Quilt measuring 61 by 78 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with 3.5″ red floral feed sack sashing and solid off white cornerstones. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and machine quilted. There is no batting but an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a red floral feed sack print applied binding, by machine. Workmanship is primitive but charming.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with several spots, discolorations, and a large area of worn fabric on top that does not go through to the back. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
