Description
Antique c1880 Log Cabin Tied Comfort Quilt in a Sunshine and Shadows arrangement in wool fabrics including suiting, challis and delaines. It measures 64 by 86 inches. It is comprised of 48 blocks, 10.5 by 10.5 inches, set straight, 6 by 8. It is hand pieced, and hand tied in a blue wool yarn in the center of each cabin block and at each block intersection. Thick cotton batting and a brown floral print reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style by hand.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with several small holes and worn areas in several of the wool fabrics and minor spots and discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
