Description
Antique c1880 Broken Dishes Quilt with a muslin whisker guard along the top. It measures 76×83″. It is comprised of 42 pieced blocks, 8.5 by 8.5 inches, set on point, 6 by 7, with solid white setting squares and triangles. There is a 3.5″ white border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted in concentric circle motif. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied white fabric binding.
Condition report:
It is in poor condition with storage line discoloration, spots, fading, and several fabrics have deteriorated. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
