Description
Antique c1890 Star of Bethlehem Quilt measuring 76 by 92 inches. The star is comprised of 60 degrees diamonds, 1.5 inches along a side. Fabrics include claret, Turkey red, chrome yellow, indigo blue, and more. The brown print and hand solid I believe was originally green and has gone fugitive. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied off white cotton fabric. The star fabric may be older than the background fabric, but only by a few decades.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with just a few spots and discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
