Description
Vintage c1940 Irish Chain Quilt measuring 78 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 361 blocks, 3.5 by 3.5 inches, set straight, 19 by 19, with 180 blue and white 9 patch blocks and 181 alternating solid white squares. There is a 5.5 inch solid white border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a light blue solid fabric binding.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with a few spots and discolorations, and pencil marks are evident for the quilting. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
