Description
Antique Mise-en-Carte – Red Flower with Orange Accents. It is 42.5″x44″. There is a red rose with green leaves surrounded by orange leaves and orange scroll work. Features a weaving house name in Lyon (see picture). Tears along the edges, age discoloration, holes along the sections, and small holes along the piece. Foxing and fading are present. It is dated December 31, 1912 in several areas on the reverse. Writing and tape for repairs are on the reverse. In poor condition and fragile. These were found rolled for an extended period of time. They were relaxed with gentle humidity and mechanical means. We will ship either flat or rolled and buyer will pay actual shipping. Please contact us for a shipping estimate if needed.
