Description
Egyptian Khayamiya Applique Tentmakers of Cairo – Mandala Design. This Khayamiya features the traditional patchwork and applique style representing flowers, lotus buds, and geometric shapes. It is made from cotton. There is a mandala at the center with red points. The background on this piece is mainly yellow with green circles interspersed. The borders are navy blue with thin lines of green and red. There are spots near the center and some piling. It is otherwise in good condition. It measures 38.5″x38.5″.
