Description
15 vintage scarves that are centered around horses. This includes horse profiles, hunting parties, cowboys, horseshoes, Oregon Trail depictions, medieval times, derbies, races, and more scenes. The majority of the scarves which are included are silk but there are a few polyester and cotton pieces included. There is a scarf by Water Silks and another by Glentex being polyester and silk respectively. There is a piece from the 1940s and another from the 1950s, but overall, the group is from the mid century. There are some small holes present primarily on the silk scarves. They are the average size for a decorative scarf. A jacquard scarf with horseback riders and dogs is included and the piece is made from rayon and cotton.This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
