Description
A traditional pa’u or hula skirt is included. Made from raffia fiber. Raffia fiber began to be used for these skirts in the 19th and 20th centuries. The skirt is fragile with areas of the waist breaking off. There are knotted areas and it appears as if the skirt was secured together in its construction rather than requiring it to be wrapped or tied. Also included is a strapless bra. The bra features printed cotton fabric on the back with leaves and flowers. On the front, there is a dried paper like material with light centers. There are several layers and it is fragile to the touch. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
