Complete Guna mola blouse featuring front and back reverse appliqué panels, each depicting a large central bird (paloma/dove) with outstretched wings flanked by two smaller birds below. The text “SAN BLAS,” “PALOMA,” and “KUNA” is worked in appliqué lettering throughout the composition, identifying the subject and place of origin. Executed in two layers of black and red cotton with additional appliqué and embroidery accents in yellow, teal, blue, pink, purple, orange, and white. The birds’ heads feature finely embroidered detail with prominent eyes, and the bodies and surrounding field are filled with colorful slit-cut bars and sawtooth motifs. Yoke and sleeves constructed from a bold printed cotton with abstract floral designs; decorative sawtooth border between yoke and mola panels. Pleated orange cotton ruffle at hem. Dense hand-stitching throughout.

Condition report:
Minor wear and fading consistent with age. Small hole in blouse, side seams unsewn. In house Flat Rate US Shipping of $15 for 1 -10 molas, $5 each additional 10 molas. Insurance is additional and required.
