Description
Vintage c1980 Buzzards Roost Tied Comfort Quilt measuring 75 by 95 inches. Comprised of 30 blocks, 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches, set on point, 5 by 6, with solid yellow setting squares, triangles, and a 4 inch inner border along one side. There are 10 inch black outer border with yellow cornerstones. It is hand pieced and hand tied at the block seams in red Perl cotton thread. There is a thin poly cotton type interfacing as batting and yellow and black pieced reverse. The black border appears to be intended to be the finished edge, please see the photos.
