Description
Vintage c1940 State House Quilt measuring 68 by 78 inches. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 12 by 12 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 15 pieced blocks and 15 alternating solid blue squares, and 3 inch border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied light blue fabric binding, by machine.
