Description
3 1920s Homemade Closet Garment Bags. There are 3 1920s garment bags with metal hangers and metal zippers on the side. The first has small pink roses and stripes in yellow and brown. It measures 7″x19″x52.5″. There is a metal rack at the top and a cardboard one at the bottom with the zipper marked with Talon. There is hand stitching around the hanger and the fabric is in poor condition. A garment bag with pink roses and a ribbon print in purple. There is a metal zipper on the side marked Talon and there is a metal frame at the top with a hanger. There is a cardboard frame at the bottom. It measures 7’x19″x50″. The fabric is in poor condition and there are some holes. The last piece has a pattern of leaves and has a small tag saying Gimbel Brothers. It has a wire frame at the top with a hanger and a cardboard bottom. There is a zipper on the side marked KVIK. It is 8″x20″x54″. There are several holes, particularly near the top, and the fabric is not in good condition. Each closet garment bag shows toning due to age, fading, and holes.
