Description
Vintage c1940 Bright Star Variation Quilt measuring 78×92″. It is comprised of 50 blocks, 9.5×9.5″, set on point, and staggered, 5 by 6, with partial block setting triangles and a 4″ red border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Medium loft cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by hand. A very unique and complicated block.
