Description
Antique c1880 Pinwheel Quilt – Pink and Green, measures 71 by 82 inches. It is comprised of 42 pinwheel blocks, 6.5 by 6.5 inches, set on point, 6 by 7, with pink print setting squares and triangles. 2 sides have a 3.5″ overdyed green inner border and a 4.5 inch pink print stripe outer border. The other 2 sides have a 2 inch over dyed green border, followed by a 2.5 inch double pink border, followed by a 3 inch pink print outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a double pink print applied binding. Hand quilting is in a Baptist fan motif.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with a few spots and discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
