Description
Vintage c1940 Lone Star Quilt with Satellite Stars, believed to be from Kentucky, measures 78 by 86 inches. It is comprised of 2.5 inch 60 degree diamonds in solid yellow, orange, pink, blue. It is machine pieced , machine appliqued, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a wide solid pink binding, by machine. There are additional 60 degree 8 pointed stars in the setting squares and partial stars in 2 of the setting triangles.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with several yellow spots that may soak out. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
