Description
Antique c1890 Star of Bethlehem Quilt measuring 78 by 78 inches. The star is made up of 1.25 inch 60 degree diamonds in a variety of late 19th century prints and solid fabrics. There is a triple border 5 inches wide, red gingham, white solid, and red gingham. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied solid white binding. A great scrappy quilt.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with a few spots, a hole on the reverse, and one brown fabric appears to be deteriorating, about 10 diamonds. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
