Description
Antique c1900 Log Cabin Tied Comfort Quilt measuring 70 by 82 inches. It is comprised of 56 blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set straight, 7 by 8 with fabric and color placement creating a Straight Furrows arrangement. Each block has a blue wool center. Logs consists of seersucker, flannel, sateen, wool, cotton, and other varieties of fabric. There is thick cotton batting and a large scale floral furnishing fabric reverse. It is hand pieced and hand tied in red and white yarn at regular intervals. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by hand.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with minor wear (mostly along edges) and a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
