Description
Curtain Valance and Linen Fragment. There is a Belgian linen fragment and a damask curtain valance. The linen fragment measures 37″x56″. It features a dark orange/light brown overlay of scroll work, flowers, and other filigree. It is in good condition and screen printed. It is mid century modern. The curtain valance has light fringe at the edge in alternating colors. The piece is a gray and dusty pink damask with a scroll work pattern. The underside is made from linen. It measures 14.5″x4 yards with 0.75″ fringe. It is an early mid century modern piece. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes.
Condition report:
Curtain valance has some of the fringe is missing on the edge. Linen textile has fading, toning, and spots are present. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
