Description
Vintage c1940 Postage Stamp Quilt Measuring 81 by 81 inches. It is comprised of 1.25 inch squares in solid green, light pink, bright pink, yellow, orange, purple, and blue. Medallion style arrangement with the fabric placement creating the concentric color design. There is a solid green, orange, and purple triple border, 9 inches wide. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a pale yellow reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. A very graphic piece. Believed to be from Pennsylvania.
Condition report:
It is in very good condition with only a few small marks. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
