Description
Vintage c1970 Lily Applique Quilt Measuring 70 by 88 inches. It is comprised of 12 blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set straight, 3 by 4, with a 10 inch triple border of solid pink, yellow, and green. This may have been part of a kit based on the marks on the pieces for embroidery and on the white ground for quilting, which are still visible. It is machine pieced, machine appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied yellow bias tape binding.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with many small spots and discolorations and the center of each of the flowers still need to be stitched. Marking lines are evident.
