Description
Antique c1870 Radiating Star Quilt measuring 81 by 85 inches. The star measures 72 by 75 inches. There are 4 Satellite stars in each corner quadrant and a pieced diamond border, 5 inches wide. The quilt uses the same Turkey red fabric throughout except for a small portion of the border, and white. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by machine, with rounded corners. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Condition report:
It is in fair condition with overall toning, spots, fading in one area of a border, and minor edge wear, the Turkey Red fabric is just starting to pop. US Shipping $30
