Description
Vintage c1930 Snails Trail Quilt. Measures 67″ x 89″. Uniquely constructed in 5″ wide vertical bars, 1 bar consisting of 4 patches and half square triangles with alternating bars of parallelograms. Color placement creates the tessellating pattern. This is a unique construction technique for this pattern, simplifying the amount of piecing but creating a need for measurement accuracy. She nailed it! It is machine pieced and hand embroidered. There is thin cotton batting and an off-white reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to front. Very graphic color placement. Displays Baptist Fan quilting. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
