Description
Vintage c1940 Pinecone Quilt or Pine Burr Quilt – Rare. Measures 82″ x 72″. Medallion style quilt comprised of solid fabric folded triangles and arranged in concentric circles. These quilts were typically made in the African American community though we cannot prove the provenance of this particular quilt. It is hand quilted, thick cotton batting and a red rose on blue feed sack reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red print fabric. It is VERY heavy! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. It is in good condition with minor fading and a few triangles need to be restitched. US Shipping $35
