Description
Antique c1860 Sawtooth Star Quilt measuring about 100×100″. It is comprised of 81 blocks, 735×735″, set on point, 9 by 9, with brown floral fabric setting squares and triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a beautiful floral striped cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by hand. There is a tag on the reverse that this was once part of the Packwood House Museum collection. Corners and edges are very fragile due to areas of fabric deterioration. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
