Description
2009 Reproduction Packwood House Museum Quilt measuring 78 by 78 inches. Comprised of 25 blocks, 8.5 by 8.5 inches, set on point, 4 by 4, with 4 inch pink print sashing and blueprint and shirting pinwheel cornerstones. Setting triangles are partial blocks. There is a .5 inch black and blueprint inner border and a 3.25 inch brown print outer border. All fabrics used appear to be 19th century reproduction fabrics. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a blue and beige print reverse. The edge is finished with an applied brown print binding. It is a label on the reverse stating that this is a reproduction of Packwood House Museum quilt number 1988.15.34. It was made by the Peacemakers of the Susquehanna Valley Quilt Guild in 2009 and was donated to the museum for fundraising raffle. There is a sleeve on the reverse along one side for hanging The Packwood House Museum is now closed. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
