Description
c1890 Courthouse Steps Counterpane Quilt measures 73 by 95 inches. It is comprised of 63 blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set straight, 7 by 9. The fabric placement creates the interesting step design. It is hand pieced. There is no batting or quilting. The reverse is the foundation pieced muslin for the blocks, and the stitching on the reverse is from the piecing. The edge is finished with an 1890s plaid print fabric. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
