Description
2 Andre Claude Canova Scarves. There are 2 silk scarves which were made in France by Andre Claude Canova. There is a silk scarf which features a classical design with the figures draped in flowing fabric. Some of the figures are seated while others are standing and their state of dress ranges from being nude to having clothing on. The scarf is lined with a red border and the signature is at the bottom. It is in good condition. The other silk scarf that is included highlights Le Tour du Monde en 80 Jours or Tour of the World in 80 Days. On a green ribbon are the names of various cities from around the world alongside dates next to them. Countries and continents are listed along the border on the edge. The regions that are listed feature iconography of what they are famous for with some rather oriental depictions for the countries in North Africa and Asia. It is in good condition.
