Description
A group of 10 vintage mostly silk scarves, could have rayon or poly blends, each featuring a distinct printed design indicative of mid-20th century styling. Material tags on several scarves confirm “100% Pure Silk” and “Hand Rolled,” with some indicating “Made in Japan,” and one branded “Echo®”. Designs include: a red, grey, and white piece with various historical objects in framed cells, one noting “Tippecanoe”; a light blue scarf patterned with artist palettes; a red, white, and blue tennis-themed scarf (branded Echo®); a black and green cityscape and lighthouse motif; a pink and white floral and figural garden scene; a red and khaki scarf with Egyptian hieroglyphic-like patterns; a red scarf depicting clocks and allegorical figures with Roman numerals; a light pink scarf illustrating various lighting fixtures; and a black and red scarf featuring a detailed map of Italy with surrounding marine life, annotated with Italian geographical names like “Italia” (Italy), “Francia” (France), “Svizzera” (Switzerland), “Mar Tirreno” (Tyrrhenian Sea), “Mar Adriatico” (Adriatic Sea), “Mar Ionio” (Ionian Sea), and various cities.
