Description
Purple Checkerboard Basket Medallion Quilt measuring 84×84″. Folk style open basket with flowers are in the center followed by frames of chains, checkerboard, flowers, and sawtooth points. Ellen created all those small circles throughout the quilt and the scallop border with her Applipops tools. The colors are very muted and soft in purples and mauve on a pale yellow toile ground. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. This quilt was used as a sample for her Applipops tool and technique and a pattern for it was offered. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
