Description
Dorian’s Mariner’s Compass Quilt measures 75×79″. Ellen made this quilt when Hurricane Dorian was threatening Florida. It was completed in September of 2019. She used 256 small circles using her Applipop technique. This medallion uses several difficult patterns including the Mariner’s Compass center, wheels in the corners, and the chain border. Very pleasing color palette in aqua and beige browns. It is machine appliqued, machine pieced, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse. Please see the About This Auction for her story! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
