Description
Circle Poetry Quilt has an original center design inspired by illustrations in a poetry book. The surrounding blocks were inspired by a picture of an Album Quilt, 1933, by B.F. Payne and Bertha Hyson Manifold, East Hopewell Township. The quilt measures 77×96″. All the prints are indigo but vary from Asian Indigo Resist style prints to Reproduction prints. It is machine appliqued, machine pieced, and machine quilted. Ellen made her perfect round circles using her Applipops tool. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated 2009 by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse. Please see the About This Auction for her story! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
