Description
Reproduction Strip Quilt with an original drafted applique motif in the center. Ellen does not remember where she saw the applique motifs in the strips, but I think they are very similar to Florence Peto designs. The quilt measures 69×82″. Ellen uses many reproduction fabrics, including a bird chintz and a toile for the reverse and added specialty cuts to many of the circles, a nice detail! It is machine appliqued, machine pieced, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. It is believed to have been completed in 2010.
