Description
Clarissa Windham Quilt Setting was inspired by a sampler quilt, 1850, Sheffield, Mass and Collection of America Hurrah Antiques, NY City, in “Quilt Masterpieces” by Susanna Pfeffer. The center blocks were inspired by an online photo of a block with no attribution. Ellen used the Clarissa fabric collection by Windham Fabrics company. It measures 75×86″. The setting is original, each block is framed in n Flying Geese and 4 blocks cornerstones. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated 2010 by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse as well as quilted along the bottom border.
