Description
Whig Rose Variation Medallion Quilt measuring 62 x 68″ and is a reproduction of a c1855 pieced and appliqued quilt seen in American Hurrah Antiques and in Quilt Engagement Calendar Treasury. The quilt is comprised of a flower medallion with flowers radiating from the center and surrounded by a poke berry vine inner border and cable chain outer border with applipops. There is also a prairie point edge with a unique corner design element. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted with a white cotton reverse. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. It is believed that this quilt was completed in 2022. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
