Description
Vintage 20th Century Toiles and Sample Book. There are 17 pieces of monochromatic toiles cotton and 6 monochromatic toile cottons in the sample book. The sample book is from Seneca Fabrics and the pieces are 35-36 inches. They are titled as toile de Jouy and they come in red, blue, brown, green, plum, and black. There are some pieces in the book that have spotting, toning, and discoloration. There are two scenes that are depicted in the book with the first one featuring a young man talking to two reclining women on the ground with a young boy walking a goat. The other scene shows one woman tending to the ground, a man seated on the ground, and a young woman with a child on a donkey. The other monochromatic toiles showcase animals, florals, and humans dancing with some ships, carriages, and more with all of these aspects interacting with one another. The pieces are generally in good condition with some spotting, sticky residue from stickers, or slight toning. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
