Description
Antique c1890 Minnesota or Depression Block Variation Quilt measuring 86 by 88 inches. It is comprised of 81 blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set straight, 9 by 9. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thick cotton batting and a chrome yellow print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by hand. It is in fair condition with several spots, seams needing repair, fading, and several blocks are showing fabric deterioration. The quilt features a variety of Garibaldi red, brown prints, early purple that have gone fugitive, indigo, shirtings, and more. There are several canvas tabs stitched along the top for hanging. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
