Description
Antique c1920 Red and White Basket Quilt measuring 56 by 95 inches. It is comprised of 15 Basket blocks, 11.5 by 11.5 inches, set straight, 3 by 5, with a 6 inch off white sashing and smaller Basket cornerstones. There is a 2.5 inch red and white zigzag inner border and a 2 inch solid off white outer border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted in Baptist Fan motifs. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse the edge is finished with an applied red fabric binding. It is in good condition with minor storage discoloration, edge wear along one side, and fading. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
