Description
Over 200 Multi Patterned Fabric Swatches. There are about 200 fabric swatches included in this lot which displays primarily stripes and plaids within three itemized folders. There is a folder consisting of check and small windowpane patterns with each piece mounted on white paper. Some of the papers have more than one swatch on them for those of similar designs. There are a few from the 1960s, 19th century, and other eras. The pieces in this folder are generally in good condition but there are a few with some spots or rips. Included as well is a folder dedicated to ombre stripes with the majority being from the Victorian era. Some of the pieces are from salesman books while others are self assembled. Italy and France are some of the countries where the swatches are from with eras such as the 1960s being included alongside those from the Victorian era. Many of the pieces in this folder are moires and there is some fraying along the edges, small spots, and general wear from age which can be seen on several pieces. The last folder consists of moires in all types with a good portion resembling wood grain. There are florals, stripes, and cut velvet which is included as well. The pieces are generally in good condition with some wear from age. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
