2 Swatch Books – 1888-1940 – Hand Painted and Silks. There are about 670 pieces in the 2 self assembled swatch books with pieces from 1888 to 1940. There is a book with swatches from 1930-1940 and it features hand painted and heavy textured swatches that displays embroidery with silver and gold thread. There are leaves, bows, geometrics, florals, novelty prints, plaids, paisleys, and more that are featured throughout these pages. They are mainly in good condition. Included as well is a book with about 490 swatches that are from 1888 and it features silk swatches with floral, geometric, jacquards, and more patterns. This book was made with pieces suitable for the spring with a front title in French. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
