Description
Early 20th Century Child’s Clothes and Bonnets. The lot consists of five pieces of antique children’s clothes and bonnets. Featured are five antique children’s clothes and bonnets from the early 20th century with a bib, two bonnets, and two blouses included. The bib is a blue and white gingham pattern made from quilted fabric. There are no fasteners on the bib but there is some toning along the center. There are two bonnets that are included with one in white and the other in blue. The white bonnet has two tiers of ruffles on the brim There is a sheer and light area at the center of the bonnet for hair to reside. A bow decoration is applied to the cotton fabric. There are several small spots on the hat and some toning. It is generally in fair condition. The blue cotton bonnet has white buttons on the sides and at the top in order to secure the fabric onto the quilted part of the bonnet. There is one loose tie on the bonnet. It is in fair condition with small holes, spots, fading and toning. Included as well is a white long sleeve blouse with a lace collar and cuffs. There are four buttons down the front which feature small ruffles of fabric. Laid flat, it has the following measurements: Length: 8.5″, Waist: 16″, Sleeves: 18.5″, and Shoulders: 13″. It is in good condition. Featured as well is a single chest pocket white cotton blouse with two sets of buttons on the lower torso and long sleeves. There are eyelets along the sailor collar and embroidered flowers there as well. There are some small spots but it is otherwise in good condition. Laid flat, it has the following measurements: Length: 19.5″, Waist: 16.5″, Shoulders: 12″, and Sleeves: 14″. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
