2 c1950s Turkmen Chapan Coats. The lot consists of two chapan coats from Turkmenistan c1950. Featured are two chapan Turkmen coats c1950 with fine braided details on the collar and sleeves. There is a vibrant chapan silk coat in hues of blue, green, and purple with a cotton lining. There is some quilted detailing present along the collar, incredibly long sleeves, and the colors are in rows of stripes of different widths. The cotton lining is blue with white squares present. It is in good condition with small tears that are present. Laid flat, it has the following measurements: Length: 51″, Shoulders: 26″, Sleeves: 34.5″, and Waist: 28″. Included as well is brown chapan coat with fine embroidery on the collar and sleeves. The embroidery is in red, green, and white with the finishing result resembling flowers. There is a tie for the waist and it features the signature long sleeves of chapan coats. The lining is made from cotton and the shell is a blend. There is some fading that is present on the sleeves and torso of the coat but it is otherwise in good condition. Laid flat, it has the following measurements: Length: 48.5″, Waist: 28.5″, Sleeves: 28.5″, and Shoulders: 30″.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
