Late 19th and Early 20th Century Shawls. The lot consists of five shawls from the late 19th and early 20th century. Featured are five antique shawls that are a range of fabric and sizes. The measurements are the following 46″x46″ with a 15″ fringe, 21″x37″, 20″x86″, 22″x33.5″ and 1″ lace border, and 10.5″x61″ with a 7″ fringe. The first shawl features embroidered florals on a champagne silk background with fringe in a matching color. It is in good condition with a minor hole near the border. There is a plain pink satin shawl with small holes and some discoloration present. It is in fair condition. The gray scarf has an art deco style near the edges and the fringe adds to the aesthetic. There is some toning present on the piece and spotting. It is in fair condition. Included as well is a sheer pink shawl with a lace applique border. The initials JCS are embroidered alongside two flowers. It is in fair condition with toning on the lace, holes, and small spots present. Additionally featured is a cotton net background with metal work woven onto it. There is a geometric art deco pattern that is featured. It is in good condition.
