Description
3 Vintage 1970s Blue Dresses. The lot includes 3 vintage blue dresses from the 1970s. Featuring a full length, long sleeved dress made of a sheer cotton blend printed in a blue and white floral pattern with white cotton cuffs, collar, and attached waistband with a white acetate lining and a back metal zip closure. Laying flat the dress measures: Bust: 16”, Shoulders: 16.5”, Sleeves: 23, Waist 14”, Length 56”. In fair condition with slight toning and a red discoloration on the bust. A sz 8 full length blue chiffon sleeveless dress by miss Elliette with a bodice draped in a Grecian style with a pleated waistband, acetate lining, and a nylon zip closure at the back. In fair condition with a few spots and fraying to the edges throughout. Also included is a vintage full length dress with an empire waist and puffed sleeves in a Georgian style made of sheer nylon in a blue polka dot pattern on a white ground with white flocked smaller polka dots. The dress also has machine eyelet trim at the cuffs and waist with a blue cotton center band. The dress is lined in the same polka dot pattern but in acetate, there are snaps at the inner waist most likely for attaching a petticoat. It has a nylon zip closure at the back and laying flat measures: Bust 16”, Waist: 13.5”, Sleeve: 8”, Length: 56”. In fair/poor condition with red storage discoloration/color transfers on the back of the dress. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
