Description
Vintage c1950 Amish Bow Tie Quilt measuring 69 by 86 inches. It is comprised of 48 bow tie blocks, 5.5 by 5.5 inches, set on point, 6 by 8, with solid blue setting on point squares, side setting triangles, and purple solid corner setting triangles. There is a 4 inch solid black inner border and an 8 inch solid turquoise outer border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a medium loft possibly polyester batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied blue binding. It is in good condition with a few small spots.
