Description
Mixed group of vintage feather plumes and related accessories. The lot includes 13 feather plumes, mostly black, made of rooster and ostrich feathers in a variety of styles and lengths ranging from 5 to 14 inches. The plumes are in fair to good condition with some fading evident. Also included is a 13-inch black fur felt flower garland in good condition, a 6-inch black tassel featuring a six-pointed star design with sequins and seed bead accents, and 29 vintage hat pins of varying lengths and head styles. The hat pins are pinned to a vintage aqua acetate moire pad, which is in fair condition with some rust and generalized age-related wear. The items are accompanied by a box labeled J.M. Towne and Co.
