Description
Antique folding fan featuring hand-painted sheer silk leaf with floral and bird motifs, and picot trim. Mother of pearl guards and sticks with a mix of hand carved, pierced work, and silver and gold tone gilded accents. As well as a mother of pearl rivet, and brass loop with a jump ring. It comes in a silk-covered box stamped JE Caldwell and Co Philadelphia. The fan measures 13 in – 24 1/2 in. In good/fair condition with slight fraying, scattered spots, and toning. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $15 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
