Description
Two antique folding fans. The first features a burgundy silk leaf with hand-painted floral motifs, wood guards and ribs, a mother-of-pearl rivet, and a coordinating tassel. It measures 12 1/2″ x 23″ and shows small chips on the guards with some visible spots and wear. The second fan has an ivory silk leaf with hand-painted flowers, picot trim, and intricately carved and pierced bone guards and ribs. It measures 13 3/4″ x 26″ and exhibits slight discoloration on the bone and reverse side of the leaf where it is adhered to the guard. Includes a white cardboard box for storage.
